The Trust has a work force of three thousand members devoted to socio-cultural activities
and leading to the affirmation of the eternal values of our country. Our organisations
are listed below
Sardar Chandroth Samskarika Vedi
This is the main organ of the Trust that co-ordinates various socio-cultural and
educational activities with the whole hearted support from the intelligentsia of
Thalasserry. It has a proud history of organizing Bharatholsav (NAFFIC-2005) (See
Photo Gallery), National Dance festival, folk Art Festival, a series of leadership
camps for the youth, highly acclaimed National Seminars on Education and several
other programmes which were enthusiastically welcomed by the citizenry of Thalasserry.
SCERF ( Sardar Chandroth Educational Reasearch Foundation)
This is the Educational Research and Development wing under the Trust. It has a
host of dedicated personnel having the initiative and potential for constructive
activities. SCERF is active in the field of Educational Reforms. It promotes the
welfare of economically and socially backward students aimed to bring them to the
main stream and turn them in to responsible and dynamic citizens.
SCERF has conducted a series of work shops which were attended by versatile and
farsighted persons working in the field of education and management. It offers an
array of ten projects to fulfil the various needs of our present community. They

A nation attains its best, when its arts and culture accelerate its journey towards
excellence. The virtues of excellence have their roots in our heritage. Kalasaparya,
an organization of gifted artists and art lovers, which plans and execute youth
festivals for children, folk festivals for village people in and around various
suburbs of Thalaserry and Kannur. It has a proud track of performance in accelerating
the cultural scenario of Malabar.
Leadership Training Centre
(Designed to achieve Gandhian Society and Simplicity in Life) Leadership
does not hatch from verbiage. It has to be discovered. There is a dire poverty of
leadership in our country. We are fed up with the ugly situation "blind leading
the blind". Leadership Training Centre is aimed at starting from the grass root
Target Group: Youth from the age of 18 to 35
1.To mould a new generation of leaders endowed with the Virtues of excellence.
2. To cure the plague of political murders and all other kinds of institutionalised
evils in Kannur District.
Providing ample opportunities for interacting and working with leaders of exceptional
calibre. Three / five day fully residential camps having the inputs: Public speaking,
Social psychology, Yoga, Communicative skills, General Knowledge, Social Development
Schemes, How to become a leader, Self employment etc.
Health Care Programmes
A non – profit based 24 hour Ambulance service to provide a helping hand to the
public, Many Blood Donation Camps, Ophthalmology camps, Diabetic Speciality camps
are some of the mile stones in the field of Health care. 'Blood Donors Forum' has
strength of 1500 Members.
A general library is operating at the Sardar Chandroth memorial building at Moozhikkara.
An 'Academic Library', with a rare collection of reference books is at Mahathma
Mahatma College, Thalassery
